Bicalutamide

Bicalutamide is Non-steroidal anti-androgen that works as androgen receptor antagonist by binding to the receptor with low activity and preventing other more potent Androgens such as Testosterone and DHT from binding. It's commonly used to treat androgen-receptive cancers and has a small side effect surface area. More recently it has seen use in clinical settings as an anti-androgen in transfeminine HRT. For this purpose it typically prescribed at a dose of 50mg/day.
